Default San Juan

We will be in San Juan from 5 pm until midnight on our upcoming cruise. I say we stay on the ship. DW says we find something fun to do with our three kids (5,6,7).

Any ideas from you people.

Wait...lets take a poll:

If you agree with me reply with (SOB) Stay on Board.

If you agree with my wife then reply with (GOS) Get off Ship.....but there is a catch:

If you choose "GES" then you have to tell us a fun place to go.

Fair?

Lets here from you experts!

GES--we were just at San Juan and loved it. Yes, the fort closes at 6 p.m. but we just walked to the little square--took a horse and buggy ride. Our driver was very informative and we got to see a little of the city. We liked it so much our next cruise is from San Juan and we are going 3 days early to stay and enjoy the city!!!!! Got some really nice souvenirs here also!!!

I was in San Juan on the Liberty and had a blast in San Juan. Walking around the architecture alone is awesome and we had dinner in a neat place called the Parrot Club and had great food. I agree the buggy rides will be fun for the kids too. GET OFF THAT SHIP!

Get off the ship. the forts are great to run around and you can fly kites with the kids on the huge lawn in front of the fort.

I vote get off the ship - see the fort with the kids and have dinner - unfortunately the fort closes early - so you would have to go straight there. There are lots of great shops on the way back to the ship and places to eat....even a Burger King!! Lots of things to see, I love San Juan. I always have a great time there.

Definately get off the ship. However, keep your eyes open on all sides of your head!! We were in San Juan 5p-midnight and we got away from the ship and I was a little scared. It is beautiful there however there were alot of locals doing odd things and appeared to be on drugs so we high tailed it back to Senor Frogs. I wish we could have been there during more day light hours. Have a blast!
