ASAP Tendering need tickets or dots? Carnival Miracle

Need fast answer-we sail Sunday,

We will be sailing the Carnival Miracle on Sunday, and some anxiety about tendering process. We have never been at ports that required tendering before.

Mostly worried as we have a private excursion booked in Grand Caymen, and wondering what Carnival Miracle tendering process is?
I read of course Carnival tours get first priority.

How do they know?--are there tender tickets given out,

I read some where about colored dots --Is that true at all?

i never seen anything like colored dots, the excursions that leave early will meet on board somewhere prior to tendering then move to the tender load area, if you have a need to get off early just tell the purser it shouldnt be a problem. They understand that people book different things that carnival doesnt offer so they will try to work with you, the last thing they want is a mad guest.

jacob17==thanks for supprtive news, I hope the purser desk is as helpful as you. I am worried just because some have stated they reply "that is why you book thru Carnival shore excursions".

I hope I can get early tender ticket by politely asking; as they say..better to catch flies with honey vs. complaining.

Don't wait for an announcement. Go down when the ship anchors and get in line. That's what we did and we were in the first group off the ship.

Darcy-great advice! I am going to remember that.

There were coloured dots for Carnival excursions for Belize. That was a bit of a tendering mess. We got tender tickets but we had a long wait.
Just make sure that the tender you get on is not going straight to a Carnival excursion for Belize.
Grand Cayman we were one of the first in line to get tender tickets. I found those tender boats hold a lot more people than the Belize ones. We got off quite quickly! I would not worry too much about GC tendering as long as your private excursion is not super early.

Many, if not most, of the very early tenders do NOT go into Belize, but straight to the Carnival excursion!
