My hubby has done this twice now. He has always caught something, because they use these fish finders. No fish, no fishing, move on to another place.

I looked at going fishing in St. Maartin and was told by a friend who fished there on a cruise just last year that it was catch and release only. Not sure if your port is has the same rule for cruise passengers. Just something to keep in mind, might want to contact the charter company or cruise line, whoever you are booking it through to make sure you can take your trophy fish home!

I know of no place where you can bring them back on the ship. In Cozumel, if you caught something, they would cook it for you at lunch which was included in the trip.
