Default sign & sail cards room keys switching ???

We are traveling with 2 18 yr olds on our cruise. My reserv is with my son's friend and my DH is with our son. My DH and I want to have the boys in their own room across from us.

But aren't the sign & sail cards the room keys?

How could we make sure the cards for the boys are for their room and that my DH and I have our own for our room and also have access to their room?

This is a dilemma. I can't give my son my S&S card so he can get into the room he is to share with friend, because then I won't have my own card to sign for drinks or use in the casino.

Who do we see on board to help us on this issue, and what suggestions do you have?

Once on board, go to the Pursers Desk (Information desk) and ask for
another S & S card to your son's room for your use. Each S & S card
is only for a specific room. This way you will have 2 S & S cards
(room keys) for your room and a total of 3 for your son's room. You
can have as many names authorized to make purchases on your S & S
account as you want. If you want, your son's and friend's cards, will only
be ID and room key, no purchases. Just make sure that extra card is not
used to get off the ship with. It will not work. Just visit the Pursers Desk
and explain your situation, I'm sure they will be happy to assist you.
Have a great cruise and hats off to you for being a responsible parent!!
Happy Sailing....................

Once you get on the ship you can get this fixed up with the pursers desk. This is what the Carnival agent told me because I am a family of 5 people going and I have two rooms but because you have to have someone 25 or older in the room my husband and myself are booked in each room. The Carnival person told me to go the pursers desk and have my daughter and my husband switched from one room to the other that way my girls will all be together and my husband and I be together in the room across the hall from them. They said they do this all the time and it should be no problem.

Enjoy your cruise

We do this when we sail. The last time - March 11, 2006 - the purser needed to know that it was O.K. with my husband that we do the switch. That was the first time they questioned me. He then printed 2 room key only cards for us.

Yup, use the purser

Good people sleep peaceably in their beds at night only because rough men stand ready to do violence on their behalf.

Courage and perserverance have a magical talisman; before which difficulties disappear and obstacles vanish into the air.

Pick your company wisely! Hang around people who are going to help you become all God created you to be.

Go straight to the pursur desk as soon as you get onboard. They will be able to help you.
