Default Cayman Islands, disembarking

Does anyone know if the ships are having trouble getting passengers off at Caymans in a relative timely manner? It was told to me it is taking up to 1.5 hours to get tendered onto shore.

Thanks JRS

When we were there last April, it was A LONG line on the ship to get to the tenders but it was only about a 45 min wait for us.

We were there in March and 1.5 is about right, unless you book excursion through the ship.

If you need to be off the ship early don't wait for an announcement. Once you've anchored just go down and get in line. Thats what we did and we were on one of the first tenders. If you wait for the announcements then you have to get in line after all the Carnival excursion people have lined up.

They are building a new dock (the old one was tore up by Hurricane Wilma) so it depends on when you go, if the dock will be finished. We just came back 3 wks ago (Conquest) and it was about an hr. to get onshore.
