1st time

I have read some things online about the Fascination. I understand that it is one of the "old/older" ships, but for the first time cruisers with a teen and two pre-teen kids, it's a cruise. Right? Expect things you have never experienced before, and enjoy them!! Or make the best of them!! The kids saw the Atlantic Ocean for the first time 3 years ago. Now we are going to sail on it!! It all happens May 1st!! WE'RE ON A CRUISE FOR CRYING OUT LOUD!! A CRIUSE!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Greg

Way to go Greg!

After your cruise is over and are preparing to exit the ship, you may feel extremely sad (the cruise blues). Don't worry, you will feel much better when you book your second cruise. :D

Happy Cruising!

Wow, Greg. Your enthusiasm is just jumping through the airwaves! This is such an exciting time - the planning of your first cruise. I predict you will have other cruises in your future, but if not, this will a memory of a lifetime. If you encounter any little problem, which you probably won't, just get over it quickly. Don't let anything take away from your wonderful vacation at sea. Enjoy every minute! :D

I haven't cruised since I was 3 and a Marine Corps brat. I have my first cruise next week, a four nighter out of Miami on Carnival Imagination - I can't wait! I'm finding out if I like and then I'm taking my husband! For now it's just me and a couple of friends!! :)

You will have a GREAT time!!! I'll share a couple items of advice with you. First, RELAX!! Don't try to do it all (or eat it all!!). There is so much to do and see!!. Save some for the next cruise, and the cruise after that!! Secondly, don't sweat the small stuff!! Invariably, something may go wrong. no vaction is perfect. Just roll with it and enjoy, enjoy, enjoy!!!

Thanks Jamman - I can't wait! I'm looking forward to giving a good review when I get back. By the way - we're neighbors! I'm from the Princeton area.... :)

Greg - can't wait to hear about your cruise! I wish this site had a "funny cruise story" thread!!!

ps. Perpetual WW member and part of a Biggest Loser contest in my office. I actually have to be careful eating and drinking on the cruise but not neurotic about it! I WILL have a good time on my cruise!!

We have cruised on the Fascination and she is a great ship. The food was
great and so was the service. You are going to have a wonderful time.
Get out there and enjoy all the onboard activities.
Happy Sailing.............
