Default medical care and night lights first time cruiser

Some more questions from a first time cruiser. If you have to see the ship doctor,is it extra or included? If you just need something for a headache do you go to them or somewhere else on the boat??Also do you really need a night light? Can't you just leave the bathroom light on?

Visiting the Medical Center is an extra charge. They do not take insurance, just cash.

The Medical Cennter might give you some. I don't know if they chare for it. The gift shop has them. Just pack a few asprin with you.

Leave the bathroom light on if you wish.

Hi jenjoe30,

As Irish Shark said, a doctor's visit is extra. If you're prone to headaches, take your meds with you. If you have to visit the doctor it will be charged to your shipboard account. Be sure to buy travel insurance to cover things like this!

You can leave the bathroom light on, but we always bring a small night light (one of those "glow" lights) and plug it into our power strip on the desk. You'll want to close the bathroom door or it will "sway" and "bang" all night . We found that not enough light comes through with the door closed.

Have a wonderful cruise!

We found a small clock that also has a night light on it. Really neat, found it at Discount Drug Mart. Solves both problems as there is also no clocks in the room!! Might want to look for one of these!!!
