Default Booking Shore Excursions Online

Has anyone had any luck booking their shore excursions online? I finally found the shopping cart and tried to select a port to be able to choose from and I always get a message that says there are no excursions available. Is there a place to go to choose the ones you want? I went to the shore excursion area and the the "already booked? book your shore excursion online' and it brings me back to the tours page but there isn't an option to select them.....

Anyone have any suggestions????? HELP!

I also tried to book for a March 2007 trip to the Med. Maybe it is too early?

I think its too early. I've found I can book when I'm about six months away from the cruise.

Default And on the topic of booking shore excursions...

Does anyone know if the selection is better if you call Carnival directly to book shore excursions? Or is the telephone agent's list just exactly what I can see online?

I wanted to book a SCUBA trip in Cozumel - for the longest time, no SCUBA was listed. Then, about 80 days out from the cruise [Miracle 7/16/2006], it showed up. I waited to book and it disappeared from the list again. But it seems the activities come and go. Maybe as 1 session fills, Carnival eventually posts additional sessions? Anybody know how this works?
