Can anyone tell me if they have ever lost their Drivers License right before leaving on a Cruise and If so what can be used... We sail on June 8th and my nephew age 22 has lost his Drivers License... I think he said he has an old expired one somewhere but the pic will be out of date... it is too late to get another DL with pic...
Any suggestions on what else he may use beside his Birth Certificate would be appreciated... He does not attend college, so he doesn't have a Student ID card........
Same thing in Michigan. You can get a new one the same day.
Unless your speaking of another kind of lost aka revoked?
regardless, you should be able to get an ID even if it isn't a drivers license.

If the driver's license was revoked you can get a non-driver ID.

I've noted that if I must go to a drivers license branch for something, it's sometimes worth the effort to drive to a small town, and go to the branch there. Usually little or no line, and usually much friendlier service.

Many states do not have "same day" licenses. In Minnesota we have to wait two to three weeks to receive our license. They snip the corner of the old one and give you a paper one to supplement it until the new one arrives.
I would suggest trying to get an expedited license or find out if he has an old high school id that he can use.
Take care,
Mike

Angel.....where do you live? If he has his driver's lic I.D. number he can get a new one instantly at the DMV office...if you present your travel documentation and proof of travel to them they will oblige you. Do not go to an independent agency.....go directly to your state DMV office! You may pay a fee for rush processing but it'll cost much more if he loses his paid vacation to cancellation!!!!! Go....now....leave....I mean it! Get Out Now!!! Good luck
