is there a soda card on the victory

last time I went on a trip there was lots of talk about soda and cost etc.
Is there anything new I should know ???

What is the Fountain Fun Card?

We will offer to all guests the option to purchase a "Fountain Fun Card" which will allow them unlimited soft drinks for the duration of the cruise at a one time purchase price (including gratuities). The "Fountain Fun Card" can be purchased at the casino, lobby and pool bar onboard the ship. In all locations where beverage service is offered, guests may receive a glass of the soft drink of their choice - one glass will be served at a time and only to the guest whose name appears on the card. The card cannot be used through room service.

NOTE: A 15% gratuity will automatically be added on at the time of purchase of the Fountain Fun Card.

Unfortunately, I don't know how much it costs now

, (I think it was $25.00 in 2004-I KNOW it's more now!) but I'm sure someone who's cruised Carnival lately will be able to tell you.

I think my husband paid around 30-35 for the soda card. And yes there are drink machines on the Victory. I never used them so I don't know how much they cost however.

i am a pepsi fan so i take a 6 pk of diet pepsi in the plastic bottles on board at the dock. then when i get to the ports i ports. it sure saves me alot of money and i can drink the kind of soda i like.

i have never had a problem getting soda on. i also have a 12 pack of beer in my checked luggage at the embarkation dock and it goes right through . i dont over do it on the amounts though. but so far so good.

They do have pop machines on board but they are hidden next to the ice machines. It costs $1.75 per can. I found it on Destiny by accident when I went to fill up my ice bucket. I don't drink a lot of pop but it was nice to know it was there.

I've read from people on other ships that they also found a pop machine next to the ice machine.

i have never seen a ice machine or a soda machine on any carnival ship. im not saying there arent but i would do a really good search here on the boards or call carnival and ask them before i would depend on getting soda this way on the ship. if you find out please let us know

It's hidden thats for sure. HAHAHA I asked one of the room people where the ice machine was.. He pointed me to the very forward of the ship. I walked up there and it was in a tiny room behind a door with a glass window. Unless you looked in, you would never see it. And to my surprise there was a pop machine in there as well. My pop machine was generous. Every time I hit Sprite, it would shoot out two of them.

I've read one other post were another poster here also found the pop machine in the ice machine room.
