Default I need your expert advise????????

There is a group of us girls going on the Valor, May, 2007. There is a variety of rooms that have already been booked....some inside, some oceanview and mostly balcony's. My roommate and I decided to spring for a suite, which we have already booked....but after looking at the price per person for double occupancy for the suite and getting a balcony room to myself....it comes out about the same price. Should I go with the shared suite, or should I get a balcony room by myself? Any thoughts?

Questions you should ask:

How good of a friend is this?
Will we get along well together sharing a bathroom and room?
Do you or she have any "habits" that may cause a problem?

If you feel you may enjoy time by yourself then you may want a room alone. If you are close friends then go ahead and do the suite.

Take care,
Mike

Mike said almost exactly what I'd advise. If your friend is someone who you'd really enjoy the "girl" time with, then by all means, keep the suite! On the other hand, if she's "just a friend", and you think you'd prefer "alone time", then switch to the balcony. In my opinion, it all depends on how you feel about your friend.
See you aboard,
Ken

You know yourself and your likes / dislikes better than anyone. Do you want and expect a certain amout of privacy, if so, you may wish to go it alone. How well do you know your friend and how well do you know her habits, likes and dislikes ? If there's much doubt, go for the balcony by yourself. It's easier to go visit someone then leave when you get tired / bored, bothered, etc. than to get tired, bored, bothered and can't leave.

THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU......I THINK I know what I want to do......I just hope I don't offend her. She is a very dear friend and would hate to insult her or make her feel bad, but hey, who knows, she might be thinking the same thing. I will have to handle this with kit gloves. Will let you know how it turns out. Again, thank you for all the wonderful advise...I knew I went to the right place

Personally, I always prefer my own cabin to sharing with a friend. Carnival's balcony cabins are quite large and comfortable.
