Default Hawaii

When is the best time to go to Hawaii - and do you find the 5 days at sea to long? Do they have shows each night on the sea nights? I wish they (Carnival) had a shorter Hawaiian cruise. Thanks

Sounds like you're looking at a repo cruise, and unfortunately, they don't have them any shorted, you need the couple days to get to the islands. If I had unlimited time, I'd love to do one of those.

If this is a repo cruise, they only do them in the spring and fall, on their way to Alaska and then back, so you'll have to check the dates, I would think either would be fine.

We went to Hawaii two times in the past two years by plane (cannot afford the cruise ). I have found that July/Aug is way too hot (may be cooler than Las Vegas ). When we were there, the cab driver told us that the best time should be late Oct and Nov because the weather is getting cooler and hotel prices are cheaper. Christmas time is a zoo right there.

If you are going to Honolulu/Oahu, the cruise ship docks near downtown area, not much to see. Waikiki is about 30 minutes away by bus.
