Default ??? about rough seas

I am taking a 2 night cruise in October on the Legend. I'm a little concerned about rough seas and the rocking of the ship. I have been on one cruise before but the seas were quite calm and didn't feel much more then a gentle rocking. I don't get seasick or anything like that. But if the seas do get really rough does the Legend really rock and roll? Would it be rocky enough to throw things on the floor, i.e. dishes, glasses, people falling all over the place? I don't mind a little rocking but I'm concerned if the ship is bouncing around.

Thanks.

I have read thousands of posts and I have never heard of the ship being that bad, except when a ship had to do a quick turn, during a non storm event. Rest assured that the last thing the Capt. wants to do is have people upset. You should do fine. Go and have a positive thought, and remember to have fun.

I have been in some very rough seas where walking was a real challenge. However, not enough to knock stuff off onto the deck.

I was cruising in the gulf last year when Hurricane Katrina hit. While it was a bit "bumpy" for a while, it really wasn't too bad. The ships have great stabilizers.

Returned from E.Carib yesterday on the Legend. We were about 1 day ahead of the storm that passed Fla and the southern east coast in the Atlantic. Seas were a bit choppy on Monday - rocking side to side but that ship has remarkable stabilizing ballasts so it wasn't that bad. I've been on ships in the W. Carib where serving carts went flying into the pools and glass partitions when we hit the cross trade-winds between islands and it wasn't even raining in the vicinity! Never look at the horizon line....it will drive you nuts! And if you have motion sickness do not eat greasy or fatty foods if you are drinking......you will regret the results! Don't dwell on the negatives.......or you'll miss out on all the fun stuff!!!

Ships may rock a bit but we have fun trying to walk at that point.
