No I wont cancel my cruise if they dont. I already paid for it but for as much money as I spent on a penthouse suite & since I have never been on a cruise before I was hoping that they would have the beer that I preffered to drink on board & I was hoping that someone in this forum would be nice enough to answer my question. Do the have Bush, Busch Light & or Bud Light in Glass Bottles on Board.

Thank You

You'll have to ask someone who has cruised before I was just making a joke, being lighthearted, having a little fun with my question. I am a bottle man too so I await the answer myself?

Oh, I didnt take it as you were being rude. I took it as a joke, I couldnt imagine a bottle man being rude. I'm not serious about many things but I do take my bottles seriously...

Well mainly I'm a Bush Light man myself, thats how I managed to scrap togather enough for the PH suite.. Although it looks as if I will have to switch to Bud Light Bottles for the cruise. Since I'm on vacation I might as well step up a few notches in society...

Wow,

Anyway Yes Bud and bud Light, NO to Busch. (Sorry)

Sensation is a nice ship, you will like it and have a lot of fun. The shows are pretty good, the food is great... dont miss the sushi bar before dinner!

Have a great cruise ...

You'll have a great time on the Sensation. We loved both our cruises on her!!! If memory serves me correctly, at the pool bar, to prevent broken glass around the pools, beer out of bottles is poured into a cup for you. I remember that because drinking Corona out of a cup just isn't the same!! They are also going to the plastic bottles for the same reason. It's not an issue at the inside bars.

They have done away with the glass bottles and Bud and BL are now served in the aluminum that is in the shape of a bottle. On my last three Carnival cruises, the only beer served in a bottle was Corona, and it is poured into a cup poolside, but bottles everywhere else. However, on my Spirit cruise, out by the pools, Corona was in a plastic bottle with a funnel shaped top.

I hope this helps.

I returned yesterday (June 13th) from 8 days E/Carib on the Legend. They have Bud, Bud-Lite- Coors, Coors-lite, etc.....no bottles, no cups....they serve beer in 16 oz. aluminum long necks. The "bottle" contains something like 11 times the amount of aluminum in regular cans to keep the beer cold for a longggggggggggg time! The buckets of Bud were around $17.50 plus 15% gratuity each; it pays to order the bucket instead of one beer at a time. You can order a bucket through room service delivery also!

Never seen aluminum cans like that before! Are they aluminum cans that are in the shape of bottles? Just a thought, how long does one can of beer need to be cold for someone? they have to stay cold for about 11.4 seconds for me! 11 times the thickness of a can? I hope you are describing a keg!! I'll ask for a bucket of kegs!! whose with me!

It's shaped like a bottle AND they are 16 ounces.

So the pool qualifies as a bucket of kegs?

aluminum shaped like a bottle that is cool. I have never seen that. I wonder how new this is and I assume this type of packaging is designed for places where glass would be undesirable. I still do not see the reason for the thickness of it. can't wait to see this on the ship!

Got this off the bud web site thanks Dina

ST. LOUIS (June 7, 2005) – As the summer months heat up, Anheuser-Busch is bringing adult beer drinkers a cool new way to enjoy America’s beverage of moderation with the national introduction of the Bud Light aluminum bottle.

This is as opposed to the Teenage, grade school and old fart beer drinkers. I had to laugh! The cottle ( can/bottle) as I now call it is cool!

rescuedad:
I said 11 times the amount of aluminum - not 11 times thicker! Its content not mass or volume.

We also brought one home to play "show & tell" () but some of the beer distributors in our area sell Bud in those bottle/can containers regularly.
