Music Society Band

Has anyone been on the Carnival Valor lately? If so, do you know if the Music Society Band is still on board?? Also, do you know who the current cruise director is?

We were on the Valor just 5 or 6 weeks ago. The Music Society Band doesn't ring a bell with me, and since music is a passon with me, I'm sure I'd remember. When we were aboard, the cruise director was a female named Jen Baxter. She was filling in, I think, for the regular director, and was O.K., but certainly not the best I've ever had. (Very shrill voice, and somewhat annoying.)
In any case, no doubt you'll have a great time. It was the best Carnival Cruise we've had in many, many years.

I believe it was the band on this Spring's Liberty transatlantic

Don't know exactly where they are now, but they have been around for a long, long time!!! They must be doing something right!!!

I tried that website but they were not listed. I am assuming they are probably are now on the Liberty. They have been on all the ships we have been on and I think that is because they get transferred to all the new ships as soon as they are in service. And the Liberty is the newest one.

They are an awesome band. I will miss them in October when we go back on the Valor.
