I would think that if the floors did rock, it would be the higher floors to do it.

Hi valw,

There's generally less movement on the lowest decks, amidships.

If you've never been carsick or airsick you probably won't be seasick!

We've always taken Bonine with us just in case, but have never had to use it !

Have a great cruise!

We were in cabin 7424 and had felt a constant vibration that took about a day to get use to. We had a wonderful time on the Glory and will be happy to sail on her again, but next time will stay more forward.

I have been on 14 Carnival cruises. By far, the Glory seemed to be the rockiest boat we've been on - we cruised on her in April. However, this is also one of my favorite Carnival ships. Plan to sail on the Glory again in the Spring of 07. Beautiful ship, great food! You have to try the Specialty/Formal restaurant.

Glory in 110,000 tons,,,,very large, however if it is a bit rockier, it's probably because it sails out of Port Canaveral, and crosses the Gulf Stream both coming, and going. That can make the ride a bit rougher, but it usually crosses when you're in bed, unless you're a night owl. Don't worry about it. Take a few Bonine tablets, take one just before sailing, and you have no problem at all, rough or not. (They won't even make you sleepy!)
Have a great cruise.

Default Glory cabins

We cruised recently on the 10th floor and while we did feel some rocking, it was more pleasant and gentle like being in a hammock than pitching or anything like that. As a rule the lower you berth the smoother the ride. I would however insist on dining in the Golden Dining room since the Platinum was awfully roll-y feeling. The Golden rarely felt any movment.

There will be movement felt almost EVERYWHERE!! on the Glory.....do not know why....probably something to do with the stabilizers, but We felt slight movement everywhere on the ship that we went.Don't get me wrong We LOVE the Glory, but if someone says they felt no movement well...

Just off the Glory last week, and YES you feel movement on her. It didn't bother me on the ship, but took me 4 days to loose my sea legs! I would still go on her again, had a wonderful time, didn't want it to end.
