I know there are a lot of you out there, that are looking and not posting. We would love to get to know you, so if you would take a few minutes to tell us your name, and if you have a cruise planned, it would give us a chance to say HI.
I am Luanne, live in Texas and I am leaving on a cruise this Sunday.
Hello,,I'm Ken, and my wife is the lovely Mrs. Jones, (Vita). We live in Central Florida, and are lucky enough to be close to four ports, therefore we cruise several times a year. We are absolutely hooked on cruising, and have been for many years. There just isn't a better, more relaxing vacation.
See you aboard,
My name is Cathy and will be cruising for the first time in October on Triumph. We are eloping in Jamaica on the 2nd so the waiting is killing me because we haven't told anyone! We live in Prince Edward Island, Canada. Thanks for all the great info provided here
Hi. My name is Mary. My husband, Bill, and I are retired school teachers. We love to cruise. My husband speaks three languages fluently. He loves to cruise to Mexico so he can practice his Spanish. We have 4 cruises booked for the Fall.
I am Susan from Cincinnati. My husband and kids (12 and 14) are cruising on the Carnival Miracle on July 9. We haven't cruised in 9 1/2 years and I can't wait! This is the first time that we are bringing our kids along and I hope that they make some friends on the ship.
I am worried about my two daughters being in the same Camp Carnival group (12 to 14 year age group). They get on each others nerves really easily and I think it is best to split them up. I'm not familiar with how the camp is run or what to expect. Does the staff break up the teen group (12 to 14 yr olds) into further subgroups or are they together most of the time? I'm sure I am worrying over nothing, but I would hate to spend half of my trip listening to who did what to whom.
I am so glad that this site exists; I have learned so much from reading other poeple's posts!
Hi! My name is Ron. Myself, my wife Sue, and our two boys are all from sunny San Antonio and will be on the Carnival Conquest for the December 31st sailing. We'll be celebrating the New Year and my retirement from the United States Air Force after 21 years of service.
Hope to see you onboard!
Ron and Sue

Hi! My name is Lana and I will be sailing on the Conquest on the 23rd of this month. It will be my husband's first cruise and we will have our 15-year old son with us. I cruised on the second voyage of the Nordic Empress many years ago (maybe '89). I could start liking this again!
My name is Jen and I live in Berrien Springs, MI (Southwestern Region) - for all you football fans 30 minutes north of South Bend, IN where Notre Dame is located.
My dh and I are taking our first cruise on December 31st on the Destiny. I love all the great info that I get from this web site. Why I would have never known about the bungee cord, duck tape, or decorating my door or balcony!!!!

I thought the age break came at 15. Perhaps if your oldest is almost 15 and you wouldn't mind her with 15-17 year olds you can talk them into taking her? Not sure if they need proper ID for proof or anything. I am taking my first Carnival cruise in March and my 17 yr old son will be with us. So that's why I know about the age thing because he was really concerned that the younger (12, 13 yr. olds) would be "bugging us older kids".
I'm new to the boards, but not cruising! My name is Sharon and I teach 2nd grade near Cincinnati (thats why you see so many June cruises!). Our next cruise is a group cruise planned for next summer on the Legend.
I'm looking forward to hearing about everyone's cruises and tips.
Hi! I'm Stefanie from Alabama. My husband and I are taking our first cruise September 11 on the Holiday. I am so excited! We were supposed to go on a cruise for our honeymoon last year, but it was cancelled FIVE DAYS before our wedding! So instead of a honeymoon cruise, it's become an anniversary cruise!
Hello I am Tim and the wife is Joyce. This is our fourth cruise in Dec., We have several booked over the next year. We are addicted ,I have spent the kids college funds on the cruises. (Just kidding) I still get excited, Jan cruise is on our anniversary (got the penthouse). Some of our dancing friends will be on that cruise.
Hi, Kris and Dan from Medford Oregon. I am a tour guide for Harry and David. We have been on one cruise to mexico and that was all it took to hook us in. we are planning a cruise to the Panama canal. I would love to cruise more and we will when i stop remodeling the house . I have learned so much on the boards, thank you
Hi, I'm Patrice. DH is Bob. We live in the Florida Keys. We've cruised 5 times, on X, RCI, & NCL. This is our first CCL cruise coming up. We have 2 parrots that we're trying to find a sitter to babysit them when we leave on our 9/9 cruise. We actually booked this cruise because of Hurricane Wilma, which hit the Keys pretty badly last October. We wanted to have something to look forward to . Nice to meet you all.
