Pregnant on the Celebration

I will be 26 weeks pregnant when I take my cruise on the Celebration. I know that I am within Carnival's limits on this, but was wondering what documentation they require. If anyone has cruised pregnant, please tell me what papers you had to bring.

Wow, you're cutting it close, since the cutoff time is 27 weeks

!

I haven't cruised pregnant

, but I believe that you'll need a letter from your doctor stating that you are able to sail. (Maybe you could "fib" a bit and have it say you're in your 25th week?

) As long as it's okay with your doctor, you should be able to sail.

Hopefully, someone who has sailed at 26 weeks will be along to help you more!

We saw a lady that was much more than 26 weeks pregnant(well at least she looked it) on the Sensation last week.

It's very difficult to tell by looking just how pregnant a woman is!

I have a friend who is 8 1/2 months and, unless she pointed it out, you'd never believe she was pregnant

! I have another friend who is 6 months pregnant and she's huge!

Women "carry" in different ways!

My daughter (Kara) will be 26 weeks along also on our Sept. 9th Celebration cruise so welcome, you are not alone..... Meybe the waves will make me a Grandpa before Dec. 11th (NOT during the cruise though)... LoL

have your travel agent call Carnival and find out what the policy is and what is required.

I went on the Disney Cruise 25 weeks pregnant and didn't need anything!!

Back in 1992 I went on the Holiday when I was 5 months pregnant. No one even mentioned it.

I cruised on the Paradise in 2000 when I was 26 weeks pregnant. I carried a letter from my Dr. saying it was okay for me to travel. No one asked for it, but I had it just in case. You might want to check with Carnival and see if the policy has changed since then. Have a great trip!

I would strongly suggest you double and triple check with Carnival as to their policy on this subject. Someone had posted previously that they were DENIED boarding when she told them she was a certain number of weeks pregnant. We don't want to hear that happening to you, so be sure to find out the facts!

How will you reach the food at the buffet? On the other hand - you will have an edge at the belly flop contest at the pool - so I guess it is a draw

Well I get to torture my lovely daughter for 5 days & she can't escape..!!!!

i would make sure your insurance covers you both on board and in the ports , if not pick up a plan that does (include Medical Evac) just to be on the safe side. Enjoy your trip
