I have read how much easier and [better chance of getting desired excursion] if you book online well before departure date,We are doing Med cruise out of Rome Sept 28 on Liberty ,which is now paid in full ,every time we try and book excursion a booking number is required ,that is apparently located in our travel DOCS ,we have been told by TA we will not get these until early Sept. and yet I have read once deposit is paid I can book excursions months in advance .??????booking from Australia shouldn,t make it this hard .Any hints PLEEEEEASE
Your TA should have the booking number from the moment he/she booked your cruise. Call them back, and explain what you need. If they can't help, (I can't imagine why they wouldn't be able to) then call Carnival direct and explain your situation to them. They are anxious to sell the shore excursions, and once again, should be able to help you. Good luck, and have a great cruise.
I agree with skymaster. Your TA should have given you your booking number when you made your down payment! (It may be time for a new TA ) I don't know why booking from Australia should make a difference.
Our TA always writes our booking number on the credit card slip. You might want to check there.
Hope you have a wonderful cruise!
