Sailed the Glory this past June. Was our first cruise too. Had a great time and you can bet it won't be the last one. I didn't sleep so well on the ship but I think that I was afraid that I would miss something ;o)... Carry plenty of money for St Thomas, gooooood shopping. St Martin was something to see also. We did the 4x4 excursion there and got to see the whole island. The only draw back we saw was the short time we were at port in Nassau. we seemed to be in a rush to see all we could see in 6 hours. One tip I can give you is go with a open mind, your gonna stand in some lines at the buffet for breakfast and lunch. Don't miss the dinner in the evening, the waiters and the dfferent selections of foods will amaze you. The cruise director is down right funny and keeps things going when your at sea..... Have a great time, I KNOW we did.........

the only thing that really matters are your passport, driver's license, credit card and travel documents. Make sure that you physically have them on you as the last thing you do before you lock the house and leave. Everything else can be purchased if its forgotten.
Best advise - relax, have a blast and go with the flow of life on board. 8)

We got back from our cruise on the Glory on the 15 and loved it. As was mentioned before, make sure to attend dinner in the dining room. You can also attend breakfast and lunch in the dining room (open seating) if you don't want to wait in line at the buffet, although I think the buffet is open longer for these meals than the dining room is.

Joey -- was Greg Hutson your cruise director? He was for us, and, unfortunately, it was his last cruise. He has a job now with CBS and is supposed to be on a mid-morning show.

Kiwi,
Yes I believe that Greg was the CD on our cruise. He was a hoot, but I'm proud for him if that is the career field that he has chosen. He tried to make our cruise a more unforgetable experience, Carnival is gonna miss him.

Joey -- I agree. He seemed upset to leave the ship, but at the same time, I'm also glad he got the job with CBS. We'll have to watch for him.
