Default Soda Cards

Can someone please tell me what exactly does the soda card cover? I know it covers carbonated beverages, but anything else?

I know we're getting DS one but we are trying to decide whether or not we need one too. For the sake of $35 dollars I don't want to miss out on something that will definitely be used if it's for more than simply "soda pop". For instance, is bottled water covered with this card? What about at meal times?

Can someone enlighten me?

Thanks.

Kim

Hi Kim, the fountain fun cards are good for getting any type of sodas or juice during your. Bottled water will have to be charged to your Sail and Sign card. Your soda card is the best deal if you drink sodas at all, as the average cost for a canned soda is around $2.00. The cards are good for use at dinner whether you eat formal, buffet or alternative. The cards can NOT be used when ordering room service. Hope that helps.

I thought that juice was included. What type of juice does this cover because last year we chose not to get our kids the card because we didn't want them od'ing on soda. This year we are considering. I personally thought that the juice was free and unlimited. Please enlighten me as well.

Thanks!

Ok sorry, should have clarified, it states on the card that it is used for free juice and soda, but yes juice is free at all times as is tap water.

We never had to pay for iced tea or coffee on the Conquest last December.

Coffee, Iced Tea, Apple,Cranberry,Orange and other juice, Lemonade, Fruit Punch and any other self serve drinks are free. The only exception is gourmet coffee and coffee drinks which are not self serve anyway, so basically if you can get it yourself, its free lol!

I will not do the soda card thing again. We bought 2 on our 7 day cruise last week for a grand total of $88.55 (tip incl.). There was no way me and my wife drank that much soda. The sodas in the mini bar cost $2.01 which were not that bad of a deal considering when we ordered sodas from the bar I usually ordered 2, the bartender took 1 can of diet coke and poured it over two glasses of ice. This was on the Miracle which had no soda fountains. This might be a good deal for the kids but for us it just wasnt a very good deal.

We bought my son a card and paid 4.99 extra for the nice drink cup I don't think he drank that much soda on the cruise might not get it next time. My 2 little guys were never introduced to the idea of soda because they didn't see anyone with one so out of site out of mind. they knew where the juice fountains were and kept walking over to get juice on there own ( with me watching of course)

As portslug says, you can always buy an individual soda from the bar. If you're going to drink only one or two sodas per day, buy them individually. More than that -- go with the card.

Thank you everyone. Sounds to me like it's going to be one soda card for my teenage son and dh and I will buy our sodas as needed.

I appreciate all the input and help.
