Default How many formal nights

I will be on the Victory from Sept 16 - 23 and was wondering how many formal nights and when they are. I was also curious as to how you can tell. Does it come when the docs do, or is it just a known fact?

Many thanks!!

Depends on length of cruise, the Conquest (7-day) has 2 formal nights... The evenings of the sea days (no ports).... The 5-day cruises have 1 formal night... I am sure that someone that has been on the Victory will also help you out.... You can also do a Search....

Hi no1girlee,

I'm "assuming" you'll be on the Victory, Canada/New England cruise out of New York?

I can tell you that Wednesday will probably be a formal night since it's a sea day, and Friday which is also a sea day. They don't usually schedule a formal night on the last night of your cruise, but it looks like these are the only two options for formal nights, unless they schedule a formal night on a day you're in a port.

All of this is purely guesswork, so don't depend on it!

Hope someone can help you more !

Have a wonderful cruise. We'd love to do this one someday!

All 3 previous cruises I have been on had formal nights on port days. This includes the following:

Fascination - 2nd day (Key West)
Triumph - 5th day (Grand Cayman)
Sensation - 2nd day (Nassau)

In addition, on my upcoming cruise on the Glory, I have been advised that the first formal night is the 2nd day. Again, I will have been in Nassau that day.

loanshark,
All of those ports were early departures, were they not? Weren't you back on the ship with plenty of time to get cleaned up and dressed for dinner?

Nassau on the Sensation was an overnight stop. The ship was at the pier while everyone was having dinner. After dinner, many people changed out of their formal clothes and went back on land.
