Default Carnival Triumph

Has anyone cruised the Triumph? We aren't going until May 2007. Our ports are Cozumel, Grand Caymen, Ocho Rios. What did you like best and what excursions did you do that were great?

In Cozumel, we have done beach breaks on our own to Chankanaab Park, Playa Mia and Paradise Beach. In Grand Cayman, if you've never been there, absolutely book a Stingray Sandbar Tour...an amazing experience. In Ocho Rios, Dunns River Falls is probably the top tourist attraction there but we have also just walked over to Margaritaville for a few hours and had a great time. I'll start by saying that a cruise is what you make it and people have different experiences but the Triumph is not my favorite Carnival ship, just my personal opinion. Have a great time!

We did the same excursions as rosetattoo, however we only booked Cozumel through the ship the rest we booked through private companies on the islands. We found it to be cheaper and alot more personal service because they only take small groups. If you would like the websites of the companies we used email me.

Hi Deana,

I'll be on the Triumph in October and can't wait! Just a quick question. Did you happen to keep any of your Carnival Capers, by chance? I have a friend onboard who's in the classical music trio and was just wondering the times and such that they played.

Thanks,
Traci

Tracy,
No I did not keep them. I should have as a momentum but thats just more junk lol. If I do recall, the times were normally around 4-5 pm. Dont quote me on that.
Hope this helps a little.
