Default Vodka for Water

Since people are trying to sneak on beer (by the case/ 12 pack/ 6 pack...), could you put vodka in a water bottle? How would they know? I have heard of people putting liquor in mouthwash containers. I wouldn't want my Grey Goose to taste like Listerine!

What are some safe and smart ways to get liquor on board? Not trying to bring on a 1.5 Liter or even 750 ml. - just a small amount to have in the room for drinks on the balcony.

Please don't think less of me for posting this question (I was trying to find out for a friend, yeah that's it ......a friend )

It's been done that way, it's been successfully convenient, and it's cheaper to drink.

Buy your liquor in plastic, roll in some tshirts, and lock in your checked luggage.
