I hope you have a ball on your cruise! Some suggestions would be.. Leave the jeans for the trip to and from the airport.. Jeans in the Caribban are very hot. Bring a Docker style slack, and a nice shirt, so you can at least enter the dining room, on casual nights, a pair of boat shoes would work better then sandals...Hope I helped a bit..Bon Voyage!

Trip, with her book & tea!

Unless you don't want to eat in main dining room, I would probably throw in a couple of pair of dockers and maybe some nice loafers. Don't forget polo shirts and/or sports shirts? Maybe a sports coat for formal night?

Have fun!!!! I wish I was cruising this week.

Jeans are way to too hot, heavy and bulky to wear in the Caribbean during the summer, think cotton casual pants like Dockers.(You can pick up basically the same pant at WalMart or KMart -cheaply) You will need polo type shirts, hawaiian print or nice jerseys to wear for casual night dinners in the main dining rooms. You will need to pack at the very least, a sports jacket dress shirt/tie, dress pants and shoes if you want to dine in the main dining rooms on formal nights. Leather sandals would be ok for casual nights in the main dining rooms.

You might want to check your itinerary when you get to the pier tomorrow - Carnival Celebration ran aground in Nassau this morning, apparently damaging one of the props and one of the engines. I hope they're able to get it fixed in Jax tomorrow in time to not delay or otherwise affect your cruise.

Bummer!!.... We are going on the Celebration on Sept. 9th so hope it is repaired by then...... Take at least a causual/dress wardrobe to be able to dine in the dinning room, Like a 5-star restraunt, they lay the napkin on your lap..... The Quail is great....
