I am sailing on Glory on 10/28 and I have finally hit that 45 day mark. I thought from reading on here most people get them about 45 days in advance or I am just not reading correctly? I live up in Alaska so I know things take a little longer to make it up north, but I am just trying to figure out when I should really watch the mailbox.

You should get them anywhere two to three weeks before departure.

OK, what kind of cruise docs should you receive? I'm in Canada if it makes a difference. I booked through a reward miles program, I have completed the online boarding / fun pass, all we received was an itinirary(?sp) from our reward miles program that says, "upper deck or better" and "Balcony guarantee" and a confirmation number...Should we receive anything else?

I have received nothing from Carnival. That's the problem, should I be receiving anything that I MUST have to get on my cruise? Or can all this be sorted out at the dock? What kind of things come in the "package" you receive?
Thanx,
Krunch

I don't remember if you went through a TA or not. Call right now. You should have received something. Do you have a booking number?

I have a confirmation number, that's it. Should I be calling Carnival? Again, MUST I have this package to board, or is my confirmation number sufficient and online boarding pass?
Thanx,
Krunch

By about 30 days before your cruise you should get booklets from Carnival that look like the old style airplane ticket booklets but thicker. It mostly consists of your "contract" and itenerary for the cruise. It functions as your ticket and includes a signature card to link your credit card to your sign and sail card.
Luggage tags are also included in the packet based on the deck your room is on.
I've heard of people not getting them and still being able to board with their confirmation number, it's just a little easier with the packet.
OK, I mentioned this to my GF today and she said we already received a "checkbook" looking thingy, so I guess that's it. We're in room 8421 (8C) so since I know that, it seems we received the package and everything we needed. Thanx GF for almost giving me a stroke
