Carnival Triumph-Tips or Fun things to do on Ship??

We are sailing on November 4th and I am looking for any suggestions from recent cruisers regarding food, entertainment, alcohol, etc. Thanks.

On the cruises I've been on, very few people made use of the spa/gym. The view out the front windows by the excerise bikes is spectacular. And even if you don't enjoy workin out, the sauna and steam rooms are great. Enjoy your cruise!

We did the triumph last april. The New Orleans (Panio Bar) was the hot spot of the evening

Are there any Non-Smoking lounges where you can dance...??
The Conquest had one that we enjoyed (Degas Lounge)....

No none smokeing louges, there is a disco, was always empty. Smoke wasn't too bad though. Didn't bother my wife, and she is the 1st one to complain about smoke.

I guess the Conquest spoiled us, they had the Degas Lounge as non-smoking & a 3-piece band.....

Hi...We will be sailing on the same cruise as you!! This will be our seventh cruise with Carnival. Don't worry about finding fun things to do any time of the day or night. The hard part is trying to decide between everything. See you on board!!

Are you ready for the coolest tip ever?

On the 6th deck (could be 5th so don't hold me to the EXACT deck), all the way forward, are two doors (one at the end of each hallway right/left). There is a sign warning you must push hard because of wind. Push it, go out, and you will find a private balcony directly below the control deck. No lights and it nobody else will be there. The stars are rather awesome. If I show up (in February) and you're there you must promptly leave. :evil:

I recommend the trivia game(s). My wife and I have won them on almost every ship we've sailed on. Carnival gives you a "ship on a stick", a little tacky trophy. Holland America gives you ceramic mugs. Princess gave us a luggage strap.

I wish their trivia would have some "real" prizes like the bingo does.

Make sure you attend the "not so newlywed" game - it's a hoot!

And ask your waiter about the galley tour - it's always fun to do.

newly weds was hilarious for us - especially when they got 3 blokes to "strip", one of which was a state trooper and the other was a retired baptist minister - Absolutely hilarious. One of the pairs in the newlyweds was at our table - they had been married 10 days (the other couples 47 years and 25 years to the day) but this pair never made it back to our table - not sure if it was embaressment or ......
Name that Tune is also fun to do and James in the piano bar was great too.

We were the ones married 47 years,I personally had a ball!
So much to do in so little time! You'll enjoy your cruise!
We did have problems on the ship which I won't dwell on.
