Default Liberty Cruise, November 3

Only 34 days and counting until my wife and I leave Civitavecchia, Italy for our 16 day cruise on the Liberty. Anyone out there going or have any tips/info on the ship and/or it's ports of call(Barcelona, Palma de Mallorca, Malaga, Funchal, & St. Maarten)? Appreciate any feedback from anyone!

We did that trip on the Liberty last year. Had a great cruise! Expect a quieter cruise than you might normally expect from Carnival.

Barcelona.. is a GREAT city. Enjoy strolling down Las Ramblas.

Funchal ... is the hidden prize of this itinerary. Suggest you ride "the sleds" there, lot of fun. The gondola ride up "the hill" is quite spectacular.

Malaga.. lots of choices for tours. We got a taxi/guide at the pier, negotiated a price, and went for a tour down the Costa del Sol.

I can not comment on the 16 day cruise on the Liberty but we did do the 8 day on the liberty which is their winter itinerary. The ship is beautiful and the staff is great. We loved the giant Flat screen by the pool. Most of the carnival ships do have this feature. She is a beauty, ENJOY!
