Also, when does the price start to drop, we are booked for July 8,2007 on the Conquest, am waiting for Family and Friends for Military, dh got the military, but our kids need a break too, lol.

277 days left or 40 Sundays to go.

Good Morning! I looked and that ship appears to be a cargo ship. They use the Carnival dock, when the regular ships are not in.

As far as prices... You are booked the week after the most expensive time to cruise. July the 4th time frame is usually the most expensive. As the summer goes along, the prices will start coming down.

Tell whoever you booked with , to keep watching for the friends and family to be offered.

You've got way to LOOOONG before your cruise on the Conquest, go ahead & sail on the Ecstacy before your sailing on the Conquest...

One GREAT thing aobut CCL is they will always honor a lower rate (in one way or another). The thing to do is check prices monthly until 6 months out, then weekly. Sign up on a cruise website for their email blasts, and then also check yourself. Residential/Senior/Past guest promotions, etc tend to start being added at about 6 months out. With Senior, if you have more than one, book one in each room, Carnival doesnt care how you SLEEP, but you only need ONE senior in each room. Also check for resident rates for other states that your guests may be from. You can split them up too, you only need ONE in a room. Also, even on popular cruises, Carnival has "One Day Sales" and the BIG internet sites tend to get a "preview" sale. Sign up for emails from Orbitz Cruises, CruisesOnly, or a similar website. They will usually email you about the sales. Good luck. If you THINK you see a lower rate, CALL and see, it never hurts.
