One GREAT thing aobut CCL is they will always honor a lower rate (in one way or another). The thing to do is check prices monthly until 6 months out, then weekly. Sign up on a cruise website for their email blasts, and then also check yourself. Residential/Senior/Past guest promotions, etc tend to start being added at about 6 months out. With Senior, if you have more than one, book one in each room, Carnival doesnt care how you SLEEP, but you only need ONE senior in each room. Also check for resident rates for other states that your guests may be from. You can split them up too, you only need ONE in a room. Also, even on popular cruises, Carnival has "One Day Sales" and the BIG internet sites tend to get a "preview" sale. Sign up for emails from Orbitz Cruises, CruisesOnly, or a similar website. They will usually email you about the sales. Good luck. If you THINK you see a lower rate, CALL and see, it never hurts.
