Default Best Place for departure on Miracle???

We are sailing on Miracle 10-22 out of Tampa - where is the best place to go onboard for Bon Voyage and/or sunset view? Also, does anyone know of quiet places (other than our balcony) to watch the sunrise?

We're going on the Miracle this Sunday, but we won't get back in time to post our findings for you. On most Carnival ships, we've found the front decks just below the bridge to be quiet places to relax and watch a sunrise or set. Go as far forward as you can on the Upper or Empress deck and look for a door to the outside. These doors lead to large balcony type areas that most people don't know about. at least for the first couple of days.

There is also an outside walkway along the side of the ship on the Main deck. It's usually a lot less crowded than the top decks.

We just got off the Miracle on Sunday. If you have to late dinner seating, everyone raves about being on the highest deck as the ship sails under the Skyway Bridge between 6:10-6:40pm. We have the early dinner seating so we missed it. Apparently the top of the ship gets really "close" to the bottom of the bridge. May be an interesting sight!!

Someone else also mentioned something about how the Deck on Level 3 goes around the back. That is just hearsay....I never checked it out for myself. If it does, I can't imagine a lot of people knowing about it so that may be a quiet place.

You are in for a GREAT cruise. This cruise was second only to Alaska...and how do you ever beat Alaska.

Deck three does go all the way round back

But I prefer to be up on the lido in the rear, just so I can see all around.

I went to the deck directly under the bridge on the Glory. It was absolutely quiet there, no noise and pure relaxation.......
