Default birth certificate

my grandson has his certified copy of his birth certificate but i think it may be a copy of it. will this be acceptable?

As long as its a certified copy of his BC, you should be fine.

As long as it came from either the state or county and has a raised seal or watermark, it is OK. He cannot use the birth certificate from the hospital.

im sure it is the correct document but it looks like a "copy" and not the original one that was sent out. would hate to get the ship and be turned away.

Judy, we put that myth to bed on another board. The BC does not have to have a raised seal/watermark.

It can have a stamp on it certifing that it is a duplicate copy of the original.
