Default Fun Pass-Boarding Pass?

Is the Fun Pass and Boarding Pass the same thing? I went to my reservation page on Carnival site to fill out Fun Pass. There are two links. One says "Complete Boarding Pass" the other one is for "Fun Pass". I filled in the Fun Pass and printed it out (one for each of us). All it actually had on it was our names, booking number, room number and a few other details. Is this all there is suppose to be on it? Then clicked on "Boarding Pass" link and it took me back to the completed Fun Pass. Kind of confusing if you don't really know what you are doing. Why two links to the same thing. Now, my Fun Pass is complete. Is that one page I printed out all I have to take when boarding, other than our ID's? There was not any place on it to do the credit card thing? Is that done on the ship once you board? I know this should be simple and maybe I am making it more confusing that it really is!! I don't want problems when we go to board. Thanks.

It can be confusing. You have done what you need to do. Don't be surprised to get to the port, and not even be asked for the print out. If it says Fun Fass completed on your computer, it will say the same for them. You will still need to take all of your ID, passport, B/C picture ID.

Your credit card will be taken care of at check in.

Thank you Luanne. I knew it couldn't be as confusing as I thought it was. All I have to do now is wait for the day to come.........and pack.

Okay, I just went to the site, and the reason you saw both is because you can start the boarding pass, and then go back and finish it.

I have been on the Elation out of Galveston, and to ME it is the pretties ship I have seen.

Have a great cruise.

The "Credit Card Thing" is not part of the Fun Pass process...there will be a form included in the documents you receive from Carnival, where you authorize them to charge your credit card for any on-board purchases (which includes the tips of $10 per day per person, unless they have been prepaid). If I recall correctly, you will still have to show them your credit card when you check in.

Have a great time.

I have our docs already and I saw the page for credit card info. There is only space to enter one card and we will be using two cards most likely, different card for each of us. I'm sure we can do that once we board the ship. My main concern was making sure I had the fun pass done correctly and it sounds like I did.
