Default Does anyone hit the hot tub in the spa area?

We didn't check it out last year when we were on the Valor, but can you just go in and use that one instead of the ones out on the decks with the kids and the crowds? Are they any less crowded? Thanks!

We often use the hot tubs in the spa area and the sauna. They are less crowded and more private. Nice change of pace after a busy shore day. Happy Sails.

I enjoy workin out and always utilize the spa facilities. While I've never been on the Valor, I've been on the Glory (same class) and the hot tub in the spa is AWESOME. It's much larger, never crowded, and had an actual rock waterfall on the back wall. To use the spa facilities simply go to the desk, turn in your sail-n-sign, and they'll give you a locker key + robe. Inside you'll find changing facilities, exercise room, sauna, steam room, hot tub etc. The exercise + hot tub are both men and women. The steam, sauna, etc are gender specific. Plenty of clean towels inside the spa and the showers have 4 heads, they're great. When my mother sails with us, I leave the cabin to the girls, take my dinner cloths w/me to the spa, and get dress for dinner after my workout.

BTW, plenty of sinks w/mirrors for shaving, brushing teeth etc. And you don't have to workout, do as much or as little as you want. Missing the free spa on any cruise is a mistake.

I'm sure the LIberty will blow you away, Bill. I'm right behind you on the Glory AGAIN!

I have never been on the Carnival line. Book the Victory for Dec 3, 06. Does it cost anything to use the spa? I am more for the shower. Thanks.

NO, it's absolutely free! Walk uop to the desk, give em your sail-n-sign, and they'll give you a locker key and robe. Turn it in on your way out. I think the confusion revolves around the "OTHER SPA" where the girls go to get messages, facials and such. You pay for those beauty spa visits but not for the exercise room, whirlpool, sauna, steam room, and dressing facilities. And yeah, the showers in the spas on the Conquest class are awesome, but then, so's everything else about a cruise!
