Two to 2-1/2 hours. More or less depending on traffic.

sorry, I made a mistake - I thought he was going to the airport, even so its not that much longer. We left from the heart of Rome last year to the port and it took about an hour.

The only way you are going to get from Rome Termini to Citavecchia in an hour is by train. FCO is about midway between Citavecchia and Rome Termini. It is a good hour to FCO and another hour to Citavecchia (depending on traffic).

It took us us 1-1/2 hours from FCO to the hotel in Citavecchia at rush hour.

Yes, I AM flying into FCO! So does that mean it will only take an hour to an hour-and-a-half to get to Civitavecchia? Irish Shark, I'm depending on you.

from past experience it only took us an hour, I guess it would depend on the time of day and traffic, we left off the Liberty first thing in the morning so there was no traffic.
