Default Elation Info

Anyone want to share how wonderful the Elation is?? I am already a fan of carnival, but I haven't heard too much about this ship in particular.

Yes I'd also love some Elation info. I'm going for Christmas and I was just wondering what the weather is like that time of year In Grand Turk, Half Moon Cay and Nassau. Also, does anyone know who the cruise director is now? And I'd like anyones opinions on which excursions you like at these ports. My family and I want to do the Horse Back riding by land and sea, has anyone done this yet? Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

I took the Elation in March 2006 out of Galveston and it was great. I thought the ship was very clean, the staff was great and so was the food. I can't give you any info on Excursions since the ship is docked in Florida now. We actually booked the Ecstacy but since Katrina, they changed the ship. We had a great time.

I sail on the Elation tomorrow. I will provide an update when I return. It's a 4-nighter, sailing to Freeport and Nassau from Port Canaveral. Wish it were 7 days...

I was on the last cruise the Elation took out of Galveston. I really liked the ship. She is in great condition and is very clean. I think the decor is a little more muted than her older sister ships. I wouldn't hesitate to sail on her again.
