Default Hand Sanitizer at the buffet bar

carnival needs the hand sanitizer at the buffet bars. CP has that and I thought it was great. The convenience of cleaning your hands in a dispenser on the wall near the bar.

Liberty had it but I noticed most people did not use it.

I always take plenty of the hand wipe packages from the casino to use to wipe our hands before eating anything on board.I agree Carnival needs more hand sanitizers, mainly around eating areas.....just my two cents, but we love Carnival!

Hard to change other people's bad habits... The old saying that you can lead a horse to water BUT you can't make it drink..... You can only take measures for yourself... We always take a little squeeze bottle of sanitizer & use it often...

I agree with all of above, but the problem is illness is a way of life. We have to do whatever we can to prevent exposure to germs, but not cross the line to craziness. The worst advice is to not hold on to the handrail. The ship is moving guys. The stairs are moving. The handrails will keep you from breaking something. I once read a thread about how to get on the ship sick, without them knowing it. We have this same virus in the schools, and we tell people to go home, and not spread it. It's not as easy on a ship. People get mad and sneak out of their rooms, because they don't want to miss their cruise, even though they are exposing others. I have read about it here. People mad, because they were told to stay put.

I am going to be known as the Common sense kid, because once again I say USE COMMON SENSE.

The stewards can just lock them in their rooms & seal the door with duck tape

Default Hand sanitizer at the Buffet bars

Great suggestions on the Buffet bars. I had thought about using a napkin versus handling all the utensils used by all the people that went before me. Just for safety sake. Have learned so much on this entire board about my first cruise and want to say THANKS!

You might consider going to the dinning room for Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner... That way you avoid the lines & are waited on, they do sit you with other folks but if your dinning room guy or gal looks sickly you can ask to be moved to another table.... I would think that a buffet line would more likely expose you to a virus since you are packed in a waiting line & sharing serving utensuals as well as the food being exposed..... We loved the Dinning room & very seldom ate at the buffet except for a quick snack or pizza.....

Default Hand sanitizer at the buffet bar

Hey thats the best yet. Let them wait on me every meal. All jokes aside thats a great idea. I just hope the servers practice the ole "wash your hands before returning to work" theory. Again thanks for all the helpful advice on this board. You guys ROCK.

Happy Thanksgiving & Sailing

Nice to be waited on, after all you have the buffet lines on land... They do have a small fruit bar on the side that has no lines.... 8)
