Default Carnival vs. RCL

Hello fellow crusiers!

I'm planning a cruise for my entire family (father, mother, brother, husband, son) for June (Caribbean) and We've only ever been on NCL before but now that we are living in Miami we felt it necessary to take advantage of our location. I have seen several reviews but I'm still confused. Dining styles? Family Activity? Rooms? Any helpful information would be great.

Either Carnival or Royal Caribbean are great ships for cruising with groups/families, etc. You'll find more activities on Royal CAribbean's Voyager/Freedom class ships if you want all that. Entertainment are both wonderful on both lines. For me, I enjoy all the little extras on Royal Caribbean but wouldn't hesitate to do a Carnival cruise again.
