Have You Been To "Meet On Board"?

We need all of you to go there, and register your cruise. So many of you, are going to be on the same cruise, and just don't know it.

I have been there also. It seems to be a very underused feature of this website. I have an RCI cruise coming up and actually poted back in July of 06 for a May 07 cruise and no replies. I scanned both RCI and Carival MOB and there are many posts with 0 replies and many with 1. The ones with 1 are usually by the OP. I was on another site to sign up for the Meet and Mingle and there seems to be much better participation....

I posted a while back on that section, no replies as yet. We sail next Saturday out of New Orleans with big family group. We are excited!

I hope not, Luanne- I still haven't gotten dressed today!

I just posted a note on MOB stating that I am sailing on the Carnival Pride on Dec 17th, and am accompanying my daughter and her family of 8. Altho I belong to a singles club here at home, my focus on the trip will be my family, but....... I would enjoy meeting other single gals & guys, over 55 to get together for an occasional drink, midnight buffet, or one of the tours. Would anyone here be interested in that??

This is my first cruise and I am very excited and looking forward to it!

It's near impossible to find the cruise you're going on in our MOB. If you look at the Carnival MOB there are 21 pages of posts, and many, many have sailed as far back as 2005. At least clean up this board, and remove the "already sailed" posts, to make it a little bit easier to find your ship, and sailing! Heck, I'd clean it up if they'd give me the authority to delite the "already sailed" posts.

I think this meet on board thing is neat, but how safe is it? I would like talk to some people going on my same cruise, but I'm a little scared. There are some crazy people out there, and I am traveling with my whole family. (Parents, sister and her family, and my baby girl.) Have you done this before?

What I usually do, is get to know someone, and then swap e-mails, or use the Private message service on Cruisemates. Just click on someones name, to send an e-mail through Cruisemates.
