Leaving Sunday~~ few question's~~

We are leaving Sunday on the Victory and returning Christmas eve. Will the ship be all decked out for Christmas? Will there be any special activities, dinner, santa? Also will the ports of call be decorated?

A friend of mine went over Christmas. She said that there were no special events, decorating or things like that for the holiday. Maybe thats changed with them doing some decorating. She didn't mind not being Christian.

The lovely Mrs. Jones (Vita) and I have sailed several times around Christmas, and the ship has always had a Christmas tree in the atrium, and some special decorations around, but no special events or shows. It's a great time to cruise IMO, as just before the holidays, I'm ready for a nice relaxing week, and ready to get away from the bustling crowds. Have a great cruise, and let us know how it went when you return.

We did a cruise on the Elation that ended Christmas Eve. I don't recall too many holiday decorations, but they did have a several-hour thing for the kids in the main theater lounge where Santa showed up and gave them all presents. The dancers were a part of this, and I seem to remember they sang carols. I thought that was a nice touch for the kids.

Yes, the ship will be decorated as well as many of the ports of call. This will be my second such cruise at Christmas time.

I was on the Victory same time last year. The ship was decorated but nothing elaborate. There was one christmas show that they offered and a few added things designed for the holiday but as I said nothing elaborate. I did not notice any of the ports being decorated and we did the Western side.

Hey, if your gamblers, would you mind checking out the casino for me and asking around for Cindy. She was a casino supervisor on the last few cruises that I took on the Victory. She is not aboard the Victory, as her contract ended, but I have not been able to get a hold of her and was wondering if she is ok. Let them know that Erin asked. Thanks
