Anyone Taken a last minute Carnival Cruise

Has anyone taken a last minute Carnival Cruise (48-72 hours notice) and got what they felt was an awesome rate? If so how long was the cruise and how much was it? Also, what type of state room was it (Interior, window, balcony or suite)

Yep, Holiday out of LA in 2001; 26 hours notice; $130.00

We did the Holiday on 30 hrs. notice in 2004 for $100 pp. The scheduled cruise was canceled due to a coming hurricane that turned at the last moment, so Carnival made up a three day "cruise to nowhere." The wife didn't even have time to get any sea sickness meds, and found out on the cruise she didn't need them. Now she doesn't even take them anymore. We had a blast on the cruise. One of the most memorable.
