Default Deadly Car Crash in Bedfor PA

I am not exactly sure where is the best place to post this, but because my wifer and I were suppose to meet this family on the Glory on December 30, I thought this would be the best place to see if I could get any info.
This person we were suppose to meet up with got in a tragic car accident in Bedford Pa Saturday morning around 3:00 AM.
The father, son and youngest daughter died in the crash and the wife and oldest daughter survived.
I have worked with the father for the past 17 years and have developed a very good friendship.
Everyone he worked with are in shock.
We are trying to find out any information that anyone could provide me with.
I live in Toronto Canada and we cannot find any information on what happened.
They were driving down early to stay with an aunt in Florida for Christmas prior to the cruise.
Again, if you have any news on this, please let me know.

How SAD, and especially this time of year. Our thoughts to your friends family.

I'm sorry I have no information for you though.

I cannot find anything on this.

Call the Bedford police @ (814) 623-6133 and maybe they can give you some info.

How did you find out about it?

The truck that collided was in the wrong land and that driver is in jail?
Sure sounds like he was drunk, doesn't it ?

I'm sure by now everyone has seen this story in the newspaper. How very very tragic.

The wife/mom is an incredible person. She says she's ready to forgive so long as she knows that the young man in question never drives again. How remarkable.

My heart goes out to this mom and her daughter that survived the crash and to all their family and friends that have experienced this loss. From everything I read in our paper today (The Toronto Star) it sounds like this was a wonderful family that just happened to be in the wrong place at the wrong time, and yes they state that alcohol was most likely involved.

I believe the laws should be changed to have 0.0% tolerance level for driving for everyone. At least that way there would be no danger of ANYONE believing that they were "ok" or "under the legal limit". If it was absolute 0.0 there's just no mistake about what the level is!

I would like to thank everyone that took the time to find some information on this tragedy for me.
Angela St-Denis has called thi a mistake.
I call this murder. This person got behind the wheel while drunk. I have also heard that he had a suspended license.
You hear about innocent people being killed by drunk drivers may too much. To laws have to change. If they don't get tougher with these idiots, nothing will change.

Here are a couple of links of this tragedy:
