Default Comfort level of 2 twins converted to queen/king bed...

Our cabin has two twin beds that can be pushed together to make a queen/king-sized bed. How comfortable is this? I've read a couple of postings where people have mentioned the bump in the middle where they meet...any suggestions for making this more comfortable? Thanx!

Both of you sleep on one side of the bed? I just couldn't resist! I don't recall it ever being a problem for us.

Never a problem for me either, they do use the king size sheets, blankets, etc.

never noticed any issues with beds and I have taken 5 cruises where the singles were pushed together for a queen (wouldn't call them a king size though). now if you want to talk about bunk beds, not so comfortable when you forget you are in the top bunk and smack your head on the ceiling........

We never pushed them together. When we wanted a little togetherness, we slept in one bed....his!

If your ship is equipped with the new Carnival Comfort beds, I can't imagine ANYONE having any complaints about these. Glory had them on this last cruise and they were FANTASTIC.

Not a problem. Those new comfort beds that Carnival has put in, makes a huge difference.
What ship are you sailing on

Happy Sailing to all:

I agree, the most comfortable bed I have ever been in. Would love to have one at home. My back never hurt the whole cruise.

I know we slept like babies being rocked all night when we cruised Alaska on the Spirit.

I wouldn't worry to much about the beds, you'll sleep like never before!

Just off the Victory with 2 twins pushed together to make a king. This was very comfortable. Could not really tell it was 2 beds. They use the king size bedding to make these beds. Besides with the comfort bedding and the mild rocking at night you sleep like a baby!

Ask the room steward for an egg crate covering to put on the beds before the sheets are put on. That should eliminate all traces of any bump. That's what we're going to do. Extra cushy too that way!!

Default Twin beds pushed together

Carnival has the absolute most comfortable beds I have ever slept on. I have been on 9 cruises and 5 different Carnival ships so far and sleep like a baby, even with a bad back and pinched nerve.

The steward connects the legs of the beds together, so they don't separate and we have never been able to tell that we were not in a conventional King bed.

You can even buy their comfort beds and bedding for home now.
