We have left our little one on board. They did have pagers. I do believe you can if you book a "Carnival" excursion. For instance we wanted to Cave Tube in Belize and he was too young for it. Now, he is 7 so this Feb he is coming on all our excursions. We and he LOVE Camp Carnival.

Hi all, First of all let me say I have been on several cruises with my little girl who is 5 and she absolutely loves Camp Carnival. That is one of her favorite parts of the cruise. I have never seen less than 3 counselors in the camp carnival room at any given time. Also since we have been on so many cruises and have spent a week vacation in Cozumel, I don't feel it necessary to bring my daughter off the ship if she wishes to stay onboard. She has done the Dolphin Excursion at Chankanaab, shopped in town with us, played on the beach at several different locations in Cozumel, etc.... I have left her on the ship one time in Cozumel and was not worried one bit. Also, Remember the ship does have a doctor aboard if anything should go wrong. Most of the time when I go to retrieve her from Camp Carnival, she doesn't want to leave. Here is picture of her I took at Camp Carnival and if you count you will see that there are 5 counselors in the picture.

I wouldn't leave my "mousy" child there with a "cat" person in the group
<just kidding>

Good people sleep peaceably in their beds at night only because rough men stand ready to do violence on their behalf.

Courage and perserverance have a magical talisman; before which difficulties disappear and obstacles vanish into the air.

Pick your company wisely! Hang around people who are going to help you become all God created you to be.

Default kids on ship

Yes we have left our little one on board.... only for a maybe one excursion that he was too young for. Cave tubing in Belize.... They did give us a pager, and I would only have done this by booking a Carnival excursion so as to guarantee the ship waiting. Now, he is 7 and will be coming on each and every tour we do in Feb. Camp Carnival is wonderful and he still wants to go in from time to time. Hope this helps.
