Default Question on the Sensation

Hi I'm new to this board
but I am a member of other boards of a different interest.

I am doing some research....
My question is
I like a good Port and a good cigar after dinner.
This is our second cruise with my wife and daughter.
Where can I have a good port and cigar on the Sensation?
Any tips on the cruising on the Sensation?
Is it different from the Victory(We cruised last July 2004)?

We are sailing on 3/18 for Nassau and Freeport
and we took the balcony suite V1
I think thats forward on the Verandah Deck
Do you think it is a good stateroom?

thank you
C

Shoot sounds like a wonderful stateroom. Wish I could afford a balcony cabin. We are booked on the Sensation same ship you are going on but we are going on the April 29th cruise. It sounds like you are in a beautiful cabin! Enjoy! Have Fun!

there is a cigar Bar right above the FANTASY Dinning room on the SENSATION. theres a stairway from the dining room right to it at the entrance. Back side of the ship.
since you have a Balcony why not grab a port from the bar and a good cigar (sold there too) and head back to your Balcony and relax and look at the moon and ocean....have a great trip I leave in 10 days on the SENSATION

I would have loved to do that Mr O but the wife is quite adamant with smoking in front of my 4 year old. But you are right, maybe when both are asleep, I can sneak into the balcony for the Port and Cigar.... 8)

It doesn't make sense to go the cigar bar since I am of the impression that our cabin might be located forward of the ship and the cigar bar is almost aft..but at least the location of the cigar bar is good to know. The cigar bar at the Victory had a great jazz trio that was quite good and because of that I was there almost every night for the last part of the set.

For the Sensation, I believe there is a pianist to provide a subdued but relaxed atmostphere.

When you get back from the cruise, Is there any chance you can post your latest observations on the Sensation? Any chance on posting on what cigars are sold and kind of Port that they have onboard?

I'd be Glad to, however I do not smoke cigars or drink port. If I happen to remember this request I most certianly will provide you with the information when I get Back. I know you can smoke some Cuban cigars in Nassau you just cant bring them back to the USA as Im sure you know.
Is Castro dead yet?
ill try and print some request questions to take with me and make notes when I get back.

Thank you MrO. That important piece of info has told me a lot.
1. Bring one's own cigars

2. Croft, 6-Grape and Dows are onborard
3. Dalwhinnie and Cragganmore are also on board.
(No Sherry, Madeira nor Ron Zacapa..Its a Port and Malt Scotch cruise)
Thats quite alright with me. Thank you so much again MrO.
The effort was well-appreciated

Attn: herfnerd, hope you also see this thread.
