Carnival Liberty Dining

Can anyone tell me how to request and get a balcony table ( I though I read this is the best table ) in the dining room.
I will be sailing March 07 and need a table for 6 people.
Also, I understand the dining room has bench seating.
Are there any other types of tables available? If so, how do you get one.

Have your travel agent put in the request for you.

There are round and rectangular tables in both dining rooms.

I just got off the Liberty. They had large rounds and rectangle tables around the perimeter. On the upper level seating, the tables overlooking the downstairs (or the inside tables) were 4 person booths.

What I recall is that one of the dining rooms seemed to have larger tables that the other smaller dining room. The upstairs can seat 9 as we had a table for 9. The booths are near the railing looking down on the main floor of the dining room.

Personally i prefer the main floor. I found it a bit dark where we were against the wall.
