Default Past guests gifts/advantages?

I have been on four cruises with Carnival and aside from the Capt.'s Cocktail hour there reall hasn't been much done to recoginze past guest like Royal does.

IS there something I should be doing? Or is there really no advantages?

I've written Carnival a letter after every cruise letting them know about our experiences, both good and not so good. Each time I've received a letter back asking me to call for a special gift on our next cruise (usually a bottle of wine).

On Carnival there is no real advantage until you reach 10 cruises. Unless of course you like the "gold" ss card.

Each cruise has a "past guest" party that includes free alcohol and hors d'oeuvres, just like the Captain’s party.

I got a letter after my recent cruise... Do you get a choice of gift or is it always a bottle of wine? Do you do it after every single cruise and have you gotten more than one letter and gift? Thnx...

Hey, want some cheese with that "whine" . My goodness, are you cruising just to build up "points" to see what you can get for free? I want things for free as well, but, all of the lines are the same, pretty much, in regards to rewards for past guests. Just enjoy yourselves. Many people haven't even had a "sniff" of a cruise.

Hi PABRADY13

I was wondering the same thing. This will be our 5th cruise, and we never get upgraded or anything, so I mentioned this to my travel agent and he upgraded us to the main deck for the Riveria deck price. 8)

Is the "past guest" party indicated on the Capers or is there a special invitation for past guests? I'd like to check it out on my next cruise.

Thanks!

I love the Past Guest reception. Just long enough and something special and fun to add to the list.
