Default American Express Gift Checques & Travelers Cheques?

Can they be used on board to pay for spa, drinks, etc? Or should I just carry cash and credit card?

Traveller's Checks work great. You can use them for your onboard account when you board, and can cash them at the purser's desk if you need cash in port. Its much better than cash, or you can use your credit card. Whatever is easiest, or suits your needs best.

With the exception of gambling/bingo, only S&S card can be used for onboard purchases. TCs can be exchanged for money @ Pursers Desk for shore purchases/any purchases you use cash for. No charge.
