We are sailing on the Inspiration for 5 days on March 3 to Grand Cayman and Calica. This is our first cruise and I was wondering what all is included onboard?
I have seen things on their site where you can buy a fountain card for unlimited pop, is there a limit? I thought food and drink was included. Also it looks like the spa on board is also extra, is that true? I just want to make sure we have put enough money aside for this. Thanks, Carla

Food is included, and some soft drinks ie coffee, tea, some juices, iced tea, and tap water.
Soda pop, and alcohol are NOT included!
Basically the food, entertainment, and cabins are included in the price. Most everything else costs something. Spa services, excursions in ports if you use them, liquor and wine, pictures if you choose to purchase them, casino gaming if you gamble.
If your ship has a specialty restaurant there is an extra charge to dine there. There are dessert and coffee bars on the ship that charge extra too. The arcade is also extra.

I really think the soda card is costly, unless you REALLY drink a lot of soda. You may have unlimited ice tea, punch, lemonade and juice and also you can bring some soda aboard with you.
I bring a thermal mug (it's a large one that I purchased at the Cheyenne Rodeo one summer) & good tea bags (I'm a tea snob), then I go to the Lido deck and use the hot water to make a large thing of iced tea to tak out on the deck.
You may also have unlimited coffee and hot chocolate, so if you like you could make a mocha and then add ice.
I love good hot tea. None of the lipton stuff *blah*. I am guessing that is what they serve from your post? Thanks, Carla
Yes, lipton or some other none specific brand. I love Stash's Double Bergamont Earl Grey, Apricot/Peach or Constant Comment. I have tea vs coffee every morning and then most late afternoons.
Another thing you should know is that if you order room service be VERY specific. If you want sugar with your tea you need to say, hot tea with sugar, or lemon or honey....whatever. If you want butter with your toast or cream cheese with your bagels you must tell them, silly but true!
Or that colored water stuff that mixes in the big glass case?
Dan,
We were on the Ecstasy last month and chose not to get soda cards (we don't drink them at home, so it didn't make much sense to get them on the ship!) but I was very pleasantly surprised at the quality of juice they had available in the buffet lines. I'm usually a water drinker, but the fruit punch and lemonade were so tasty! I didn't try the apple juice, but imagine it was probably just as good. I did order some orange juice in the dining room at breakfast the last day and it was NASTY! Real watery, so, go figure?!

I'm not sure about using the soda card in the dining room, we generally order a bottle of sparkling water (whichever brand they are selling at the time).
As far as the juices are concerned, there is usually apple, cranberry, fruit punch and lemonade. I've had orange juice, in the morning, and it was fine...actually tasted fresh squeezed...go figure.
