Freeport Port Lacaya Public Beaches - Anyplace To Change?

is there any place to change at the Freeport Port Lacaya Public Beaches?

Would I be able to take a cab with wet clothes?

there are a couple of bars and restaurants that will allow you to change in their restrooms. this is what i did last year and i do not recommend it. i would wear your swimming trunks to and from the beach. do not worry about wet clothes. by the time you walk from the beach to the cab stand, your suit will be dry.

Actually there is a public restroom/changing area. It is near the hotel with the winding pool. As you are walking to the beach area, you will see a winding pool to your left, walk along the pool you will see a small bulding with outdoor showers, and restrooms!

It is the middle hotel of three at Our Lucaya.

The resort is broken up into three pieces, going from right to left if facing the ocean: The Sheraton, The Westin - Breakers Cay and the Westin - Lighthouse Point.
Each resort gets nicer anf fancier as you move from right to left. (the Sheraton is the least fancy for example)

The winding pool and waterfalls at Breaker's Cay was really nice. (wish these hotels did daypasses. )
The infinity curved pool at Lighthouse Point was very cool.

I wanted to know if there's any beaches within walking area of this dock. I don't want to wander far so I don'tmiss the ship when it sails. We'll be doing the glass bottom boat tour in the morning, having lunch on the ship and then I'd like to just check out a beach within 5-10 minutes of walking but within sight of the ship.

Enjoy the pool on the ship while everybody else is finishing their shopping or day beaching at Our Lucaya.

Please take the cab ride to OUR LUCAYA. The cab drivers are reliable and the beach is gorgeous. I never felt threatened at all and it is only $5.
