Default Formal nights on LIberty question

Does anyone know what nights are formal on the Liberty 8 nighter. I'm hoping they are 'sea' nights.

My wife and I sailed on Carnival Liberty last April 2006, 8 night Eastern Caribbean. Yes both formal nights will be on the nights at sea.

Actually formal nights are on the 2nd night and 5th night. The 5th night is not a fun day at sea.

Default Formal Nights on Liberty

Just returned from the 2/3/07, 8 day sailing and the formal nights were Sunday (night 2) and Friday (night 6), both days at sea.

Default Liberty

We were on the Liberty ending 1/28 - the 8 night cruise. Had a lot of fun, cruise director was fine, some shows were repeats we'd seen on other cruises but still good to see again. Casino was FABULOUS if you played
the 5 dollar slots by the cashier cage - they hit every single day ! Food was good, ports were ok but wouldn't do them again. Costa Maya was the most friendly. Costa Rica -= took the train, boat and bus tour. Was nice but nothing stood out. Could not see the 'beautiful Costa Rica' that is advertised - probably cause we were not high enough - did not do the mountains... Panama took the 8 hour tour - was nice but too much in the bus. almost 2 hours to the pacific and back again another 2 hours.. Loved the ship and the sea days !

Thanks for the tips/review - we are going Scuba diving in Costa Maya so won't have to see much of the city - as it takes up most of our time there. In Costa Rica we are going white water rafting - and also doing the panama canal tour - and for 175.00 hope it is worth it! I didn't know it was almost 4 hours on the bus however! Is it worth the $$?? Let me know please -- 4 hrs in a bus is much to long!

Default LIberty

Todd Wittmore was the CD and did an outstanding job. He seemed to have a thing for dressing as a woman. To each his own. Both production shows were great, would recommend seeing both. Would also recommend seeing the Legends Shows they have the last night. This is a show where the guest get a chance to perform, very entertaining.

Ports were nice, would like to have been in San Juan earlier in the day. Did our own thing there. If you want to have a very good dinner in San Juan, get directions to Aquaviva, you will not be disappointed. Took the Five Star St. John & Trunk Bay trip in St. Thomas and had a great snorkeling. Got to see a Nurse Shark. Did our own things in both Antigua and Tortola. If you like water sports, Dickerson Bay in Antigua is the place.
